Matt Wilson Plasek leads carbon sales and certification at Applied Carbon, a producer and operator of mobile in-field biochar systems. These mobile systems enable broad-scale agriculture adoption of biochar as both a soil health tool and durable carbon removal technology. Matt brings deep business development and sales expertise from three venture-capital-backed startups, most recently as Head of US at Carbonfuture, where he developed a leading carbon removal pipeline. Previously, he led business development at the additive manufacturing company polySpectra and co-founded advanced manufacturing startup Ecliptic Industries. He started in engineering roles at leading aerospace companies with degrees from Princeton University and Iowa State University.
